John F Kudla, age 84, passed away Suddenly Tuesday May 9, 2023, after a brief illness at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born to the late Francis and Emily ( Pudlak) Kudla on December 27, 1938, in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his wife Patricia (DeCillis) Kudla of 60 years, son John Kudla and his wife Michelle Kudla of Alden, NY; and daughter Sharon (Kudla) Guerra of Albuquerque, NM; also including five grandchildren, Anthony Kudla, Christopher Mings, Megan Mings, Roman Guerra, Matthew Guerra. He was proceeded in death by his sister Lorraine Kociemski of Buffalo. John served his community of Buffalo, NY for 34 years as a firefighter reaching the rank of Battalion Chief. John was also a proud member of the U.S Army and was honorably discharged after several years of service. John will be truly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered as a patient, kind and giving person who also loved the Buffalo Bills. In lieu of flowers please give what you can to the American Heart Association. A visitation for John will be held Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville, NY 14221. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, May 15, 2023, 11:00 AM at St Timothy's Church, 565 E Park Drive, Tonawanda, New York.
