He always was my favorite uncle, I still miss him sometimes, like playing with his cars.

I bet if you polled the class of '76 and asked who was the nicest guy in our class, Jerry Gambino would be on the top of that list!  He always had a ready hardy laugh, he had such an easy going nature, and his kind hearted way made Jerry a friend to us all.  Seeing the picture of Jerry today --it is the same genuine impish smile of 40 plus years ago I remember in the halls of Kenmore East.  

My deepest sympathy to the Gambino family for your loss.

To the Gambino family.  I've known Jerry for the better part of my legal career of 44 years. But it wasn't untl the last four years that I've come to know him well. He was a very fine attorney who cared deeply about his clients. Some of his clients were referred to my partner Dave Wolff and I for their personal injury cases. They revered Jerry and I could see why. He truly cared for them and wanted to always be kept in the loop, which was something I was very happy about because of his devotion to them and his keen insight. As a man, he had great character and integrity and was very devoted to his family. I will miss him and wish I had known him longer. At the wake I heard many warm stories about him from the numerous people who waited in line, a tremendous tribute to him in and of itself. My heartfelt condolences.

Jerry and I both worked at Harrison & Gruber.   Later, Jerry appeared before me when I was a Workers' Comp. Judge.  Jerry was always pleasant and prepared.  He was a strong advocate for his clients. 

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jerry. He was a longtime colleague of mine. The compensation world will miss him very much. My deepest sympathies to his wonderful family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Gambino family.  Jerry was a true champion for the underdog.  I sent all of my referrals to him as an attorney for injured workers at the Workers Compensation Board.  His compassion and genuine concern for his clients was an inspiration for all.
Every Christmas Jerry would send an elaborate array of chocolates to my office for my family to enjoy.  Thank you Jerry...   you were truly one of the good guys.  May you rest in peace

Condolences to the entire Gambino family. Jerry and I would walk to Franklin Jr High together. I have many fond memories of those walks, playing basketball together and sharing many laughs.

Jerry Gambino was a kind man.  He was someone you could talk to if you had a problem.  My first meeting with Jerry was when he interviewed for a position at Cole Sorrentino Law Firm.  I was hired and worked there for 4 years.

My best memories of him was his kindness and that he often made me laugh!  He will truly be missed!

I was a law clerk for Jerry's firm in law school, and continue to stay in touch with many of the attorneys there. Jerry was an excellent mentor and an excellent attorney, with a great sense of humor and a quick wit. I count myself fortunate for having known him and having learned under him. May his memory be forever a blessing.

Our sincere condolences to Mary Ann, Jennifer, Carrie and the Gambino family on Jerry’s passing.  We are so fortunate to have known Jerry for so many years and to call such a humble and beautiful person our friend.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Peace.

Jerry was my boss for over 16 years. He was a great mentor.  He was also a great father figure who I could  get advice about anything. I’ll miss him everyday of my life.

           

I met Jerry in my second year of law school.  He, as did I, transfered to UB after completing our first yeat at other schools.  Jerry's laughter and his voice will be forever remembered by me.  Although we each took different paths after being admitted, I kept abreast of Jerry's career and family.   I can state with absolute certainty that I am a better person because I knew Jerry.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Jerry’s passing.  I knew him from his law  practice at the Workers’ Compensation Board.  He was a fine attorney and a credit to his profession.  Hopefully, it is of consolation to you to know that the thoughts and prayers of others are with you at this time.


I have known Jerry since high school at Kenmore East, we attended UB then went to Law School together.  No matter how difficult some of those times were Jerry was always the one to lighten the load with his smile and hearty laughter. He was the best friend for all of us that stuck together since high school and he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him. A great lawyer and an even better person! My thoughts are with his wonderful family.  

This is very sad news. My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to both his family and his friends.  I will keep you all in my thoughts.   

I have known Jerry since 1988, as we both practiced before the Workers' Compensation Board. He was a great lawyer and a great person.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

My heart goes out to all who loved him.  Taken way too soon.    My favorite memory of him is seeing him dancing up a storm at his beautuful daughters wedding.  I don't think I ever saw him without a smile.   

Jerry is like my brother. the Gambino's are a fantastic family.  if anyone is welcomed to the gates of heaven its Jerry. I love him and not sure how to deal with this.
