Our Carkie will be missed forever. No matter what life threw at her the cup was ALWAYS half full. God blessed her with the most loving compassionate heart. She was our family historian. She was the best mother, sister, aunt, grandmother & friend. She made sure that we were in love with God, & that we were proud to be Irish. She was never too busy when you needed her, and her comforting arms helped dry your tears. She was fair and just. She always made everyone feel welcome, and always made room for one more. She loved when her family was around, the more the merrier. She loved people and she loved to laugh. She was our families JOY!  She was my aunt, my sister, and my best friend. A light has gone out at our family table, but now burns brightly in heaven. Until we meet again my Carkie!

To Carol's family and friends, my deepest sympathy.  I knew her for only a short time when she attended our Bible Study class at St. Pius X Church.  She was a treasure to be with, and all of us remember her fondly.  Just as she could so easily "light up" a room, I'm sure she's doing the same up in Heaven now!  I'm sure she's already "resting in peace," and I know that she will bless us all now as she prays for us in her new home.

dear molly and bonnie, i am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing! i remember your mom from when we hung out a couple of times as kids at long beach canada.i believe one of us got into trouble and she yelled at whoever it was, and me and either molly or bonnie was made to sit in that little room in your cottage, along with my mom and your mom and keep quiet for over an hour!looking back that was so funny! i also remember your mom laughing and talking with my mom that hot summer afternoon. she was such a nice lady with such a vibrant personality! may God bless you and your family during this hard time! love, your old friend, sandy mang erckert

I worked with Carol many years ago for the Department of Labor in Tonawanda and more recently reconnected with her through St Pius X.  She was full of life and I am thankful for having her as a friend in my life.  She will be missed at our Widows Group at St Pius where she helped and touched so many women going through the grief and loss of their spouses.  A life well lived.
