Ronnie was born on January 3, 1987 in Lansing, MI to Joseph and Valerie Fox. He was a 2005 graduate from Williamston High School. Ronnie went on to graduate from Michigan State University with a bachelors in Electrical Engineering and continued his education, receiving a Masters in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He moved to Washington, D.C. in 2010 to begin his career, and start his family. After eight years, Ronnie, his wife, and four month old moved back to his home state of Michigan. Wherever he was, and in whatever he was doing, Ronnie made an impact on people.
Ronnie is survived by his wife and best friend of 12 years, Rachael, and two beautiful sons Matthew and Gavin. Parents Joseph and Valerie Fox. Brothers Jacob, Evan and Benjamin. Grandmothers Rosie Greener and Phyllis Fox and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special Aunt Mary Greener, who loved him as if he were her own. He was preceded in death by Grandfathers Ronald Greener and James Fox.
Ronnie had a passion for sports, especially for his Spartans. He loved to travel, golf, listen to music, new and old, and just relax with his friends and family. He was a life that touched many with his down to earth, silly, and loving character. Most of all, Ronnie’s love for his family was unmatchable. Ronnie was the epitome of a lifelong learner. When faced with any challenge, he was your guy to find a solution.
The family will be honoring his life privately with a viewing and memorial service. On Friday, August 19th at 4:00pm there will be a Celebration of Life to honor Ronnie at the Glenbrier Golf Course at 4178 W Locke Rd, Perry, MI 48872.
