Robert Charles Gilpin was born June 11, 1930 and passed away September 16, 2013 at the age of 83.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Eloda Gilpin, and JoAnn (Gilpin) Wallace. Bob was a Korean War veteran, was an active member of the Webberville community serving for several years on the Village Council and Fire Department, and loved organizing the parades during Firemen Field Days before moving to Williamston, where he joined the Kiwanis Club and served as Secretary and President. Bob absolutely loved his social time with friends at Ellie’s Country Kitchen in Williamston. Surviving are his loving family; son Michael, daughters LeeAnn (Terry) Estes, Diane (Kevin) Price, Sherri Gilpin, sister Patsy (Robert) Knaffle, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No services are being held. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel.
