Patty was born December 6, 1929 in Flint, Michigan, and died July 22, 2016. Patty was the daughter of Charles Begole and Neola (Buck) Bailey and the step-daughter of the late Lyman Bailey. She graduated from Williamston High School in 1947. In 1949 she married Harold Epley and was devoted to him until his death in 1984. Patty was a gifted seamstress and a farmer at heart. She was devoted to her family, her home, and the many dogs, cats, and other animals that were members of the family through the years. She loved nature, especially hummingbirds.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter Marlene Ann Epley (Leo Sheets) and granddaughter Holly Kim Lan Mauk (Blair French), of whom she was especially proud. She is also survived by special friends, Charlie Mauk, Ed Bowen, Sharon and Helmut Laumer, Betty Carl, and Joannie Mayes.
The family thanks Riverwind Senior Assisted Living of Williamston and Hometown Hospice for the professional and compassionate care they provided Patty.
