Norma retired as Administrative Assistant from Sparrow Hospital after 32 years of service. She was a member of Chapel Hill UMC in East Lansing and Chairman of the Trustee Committee.
Norma was on the Board of Director of the Medical Credit Union and a member of Altrusa Women’s Service Organization. She was proud to be a Certified Professional Secretary.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Richard G. Winter, her parents, son, Robert Winter, grandson Luke Winter.
She is survived by her daughter, Laureen R. (Daniel) Tunningley of Williamston; sons, Larry G. Franks of Ruskin, Fl. and David A (Kathy) Franks of Coldwater, MI.; stepchildren, Susan (Kevin) Koch of Negaunee, Kenneth M. Winter of Petoskey; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother, Robert E. (Geraldine) Monroe of Webberville; Fayetta (Gerald) Turner of Morris, Betty Keener of DeWitt, Kay Wyble of Charlotte and many nieces and nephews.
Norma was the world’s best Mom and Grandmother.
Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St. with Visitation one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family wish to have donation be made to Hospice of Lansing, 3186 Pine Tree Rd. Ste. A, Lansing, MI 48911 in memory of Norma.
