jeff was a great person with a big heart,he was always fighting for the people that worked for/with him at G.M.,he will be missed. I just found out of his passing from my brother inlaw another retiery,we both worked with him at g.m.and considered him a freind a good man and great humanbeing a rare thing nowadays.I wish i could of been there to pay my respects,sorry.SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE BUD.

We got to know Jeff working with him in our horticulture retail center the past few summers.  He was a neat fellow & always upbeat.  His knowledge & love of plants was very evident as he exuded that passion daily.  He wil be missed by all.

I had the privelage of working with Jeff at GM. He was my sparring partner. My heartful sorrow goes out to his family.In the year that I worked with him I grew very fond of Jeff. Soon after he retired I had heard that he had died. I called his mom and she reassured me that he was fine.Now I find that my pal passed and my heart is broke....God speed Jeff..

Though I've only known Jeff for a little over three years, he made an impact on my life. Always the bearer of ideal lovely gifts of plants or wine, always thoughtful in word and gesture. I will miss Jeff's presence at Pretty Lake, and all the laughter we've shared. God bless your kind wonderful soul, Jeff, and may God bless and hold your family and help them with their unexpected loss. May you rest in peace in a beautiful garden in heaven.

.For 6 long yrs I got stuck working in Lansing. The 1 1/2 hr drive back and forth was a killer. But I did make a lot of very good friends from Lasing. When I worked 2nd shift one of them was Jeff Odell. He was a very close and dear friend. We spent a lot of our time together laughing, fishing, makeing spinners, and just plain shooting the bull. He had a very differnt kind of hummer that made him funny as heck. And very enjoyable to be around. I spent a lot of time teaching him how to fish for salmon, and fishing with him. He was a true friend. "Jeff Odell" the bset rose in the garden has come and gone now. I will dearlly miss you, Jeff. Rest in Peace Jeff.  Your good friends  Kip & Vevah Carey

We will miss Jeff so dearly.  He so loved his plants, his nieces and nephews.  We have so many memories of our travels together to Jamaica, Las Vegas and our travel through life together.  You were a great friend and confidant.  You were our rock that we tied our boats to.  Our hearts have broken. Jeff was the best kind of friend, the kind that felt like family.  In a way we were.  Him and I are God parents to Bella.  As sad as his passing makes me, I know he is in good hands.  I will always make sure Bella knows she has one of us on each side guiding her.  I miss your company, Jeff. Until we meet again.....

I will miss Jeff and the knowledge of flora he so willingly shared.  I am sorry that I never could learn the technical names.  We exchanged many plants, but I think I got the better end of the exchange.  Jeff will be missed at Pretty Lake by those who knew and loved him.

Jeff always shared what he loved with his friends...I was the lucky recipient of MANY beautiful plants and flowers, which when I look at them I am always reminded of Jeff and his wonderful smile, and giving personality...you will be missed my friend.
