Eileen was born August 13,1940 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Frank and Augustine (Emery) Sarazin. She was raised in River Rouge, Michigan with her four siblings and would often recount stories of playing at her grandmother’s house.
In 1961, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served this country. Following her honorable discharge, Eileen went on to work for the Lansing Board of Water and Light for more than 20 years before retiring in 1999. After she retired, she spent her time rescuing animals, working as a school crossing guard, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons Michael Robinson (Kirsten) and Edward Robinson II (Demekia Minor, Jennifer Yokeum); sister Tina Cunningham; brother Robert Farrand; seven grandchildren Tiera, Cormarie, Montell, Ciara, Braydee, Irene, and Mikey; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Eileen was preceded in death by the love of her life Edward Robinson; parents, Frank and Augustine Sarazin; sister, Nancy; and brother, Frank.
Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. with a service at 11 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 East Middle St. Williamston, MI 48895.
Committal service at 2:00 P.M. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
