William Francis Cole, Jr.

William Francis "Bud" Cole, Jr., 90, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on January 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Francis Cole, Sr. and Lillian Chapo Cole, and his sister, Janice Moore.

Bud received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Gettysburg College in 1959 and later retired from the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company as Corporate Manager, Customer Service. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Limeport, PA for 63 years.

Bud served in the United States Air Force where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

He was a lifetime member of the Gettysburg Elks Club, and a member of the Lions Club in Coopersburg, PA. He was also a member of the Southern Lehigh Baseball Association, serving many years as a manager, head coach, and board member. In his free time, Bud enjoyed hunting, bowling, baseball, landscaping, cooking, and spending time with family.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, JoAnn Sherman Cole; sons, Timothy (Jeanine) Cole and John (Beth) Cole; daughter, Carolyn (Paul) Martino; grandchildren, Will Cole, Casey Cole, Kevin Cole, Andrew Cole, and Pete Cole; and brother, Jack Cole.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, VA at 11:30am on February 7, 2023. A burial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Limeport, PA at 11am on February 9, 2023, followed by a Memorial celebration at 1:00pm at Copperhead Grille in Center Valley, PA.
