She was born in Silver Spring Maryland on February 2, 1952.
She worked in Colonial Williamsburg for 28 years starting in the Weaving shop. She went on to work in the Millinery, Tailor Shop, and Costume Design Center, before joining the Wig Shop. She successfully completed the apprentice program and made many wigs worn on the streets of the historic area. She enjoyed interpreting, especially for school groups, and was commended several times for her knowledge, encouragement, and friendliness. She traveled to several shows demonstrating spinning and weaving. She loved the cats and dogs she had through her life and had won awards for training German Shepherds when she was young. She enjoyed sewing, spinning and weaving, reading books, spending time with her friends, and watching James Bond movies.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Joseph and Mildred Morgan.
Terry is survived by her sister, Patricia Perbetsky, and her children, Tanya and Sean Lyons.
Friends are invited to celebrate her life with her family at an ice cream wake at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, October 12 from 1pm to 3pm.
