Suzanne S. (Weber) Callahan, 87, of Williamsburg, VA passed away May 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 23, 1936, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Delbert O. and Ruth G. (Brandon) Weber. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick E. Callahan, and siblings Betty Welty, William Weber, Nancy Plote, and Judith Boyer. While born in Illinois, Suzanne also lived in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire before moving to Virginia.
Suzanne was a dedicated wife and mother caring for her home and family, always putting their needs above her own. Soft-spoken, but with a keen sense of humor, Suzanne never had an unkind word to say about anyone; and even with her large extended family, she never missed a birthday or anniversary sending thoughtful, heartfelt cards. Besides her family, Suzanne was also a dedicated lover of animals, especially caring for and raising many puppies and dogs. Outside of her home, Suzanne was a Revisions Editor (The Official Encyclopedia of Football) and an executive administrative assistant at Price Waterhouse.
She leaves behind her children, Deborah L. Mowry (Donald) of Williamsburg, VA; David B. Treat (Debra) of Powder Springs, GA; Taylor R. Treat (Jane) of Tampa, FL; and Nansea R. Eye (Garnet) of Lanexa, VA. She had been blessed with nine grandchildren, Joshua D. and Benjamin P. Mowry, Caitlin S. Piephoff, Tanya M. Haynes, Robert B. Treat, Andrew R. Treat, Dana T. Venereo, Tyler S. and Nathan W. Tetreault; and eight great-grandchildren Zander, Graham, Julia, Avery, Jacob, Lucas, Hazel, and Theodore.
