Stephen Lambert Grimes

Stephen Lambert Grimes, 27, passed away suddenly on November 19, 2016 in Williamsburg, VA. Stephen graduated Lafayette High School in 2007 and attended Old Dominion University, where he studied engineering. He enjoyed sports, woodworking, bowling and his pets, but most of all, he loved his family and making people laugh. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Grimes. Survivors include his mother, Andrea S. Grimes and her partner, Mervin A. Pleasant, both of Williamsburg, VA; brothers Thomas M. Grimes, Edward A. Grimes, Harrison M. Grimes of Williamsburg, VA and Philip J. Grimes of Blacksburg, VA; sister Emma C. Grimes of Austin, TX; grandparents Bonnie L. Cooper of Williamsburg, VA, John M. Cooper of Ocean City, MD and LaVere and Judith Grimes of Hanover, PA; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Saturday, November 26th at 11am.
