Cynthia Halterman Turner

Cynthia was an IS Support Technician for the Williamsburg- James City County Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed playing Bunco, gardening, antiquing, baking, and was an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets. Cynthia was also a member of the Styling Stangs Mustang Club.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Frank “Frankie” Turner, Jr.; her son, John F. Turner, III and his fiancée, Monica Van Trieste; her mother, Mary F. Halterman; and her grand-dog, Cole. She was affectionately known as Omha and was like another grandmother to Madison and Mollie Weiler, whom she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends and guests on Thursday, February 27 beginning at 12 PM with a memorial service beginning at 1 PM, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center and Chippenham Hospital of Richmond.
