Nancy Caffey

Nancy was born August 6, 1946 in Long Beach, California to Joy Gause Pierce. She attended school in the Fort Worth Independent School District, graduating from North Side High School in 1964. Nancy was married in June of 1966 to Ronny Caffey. Together they raised two children and built a life full of blessings, dedicating their time to charity and their church. Throughout her life, she made life-long friends who became like family and are a cherished part of her legacy.

Nancy loved her family fiercely, and especially loved being a Grandma. There wasn’t a major event that she missed. Whether a soccer game or musical, Nancy was there wearing her brightest smile. When she wasn’t organizing high school reunions or Shrine trips, she would often be found calling and emailing her friends or working puzzles. Nancy had a heart of gold and was a kind, generous friend to all. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her husband Ronny, her son Jeff, and his wife Julie, her daughter Jennifer, and her husband Steven of Ft. Worth, TX; and bonus son Chris, and his wife Shelly of Lubbock, TX; and grandson Wayland, and granddaughters Reagan and Skylar. She also had 3 bonus grandchildren, Austin, Treg, and Sidney, 2 nieces, Denice and Debbie ,and many cousins whom she loved dearly.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Joy and several aunts and uncles.

Family visitation will be Sunday, December 12th from 3-5pm in room 110 at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be held at 10am on Monday, December 13th also at North Richland Hills Baptist Church.
