William W. (Bill) Park

Park, Dr. William W. (Bill) Came into this world Sept 2, 1943 and after a battle with leukemia, left this world on Sept. 3, 2014. Born into a loving family to Ruth M. Park and Dr. F. Wesley Park, along with sister Patti, and brothers David and Jim. Graduated from University of KS and Baylor University School of Dentistry. Married Diane (Zerr) Park in 1968 in Dallas, Tx (Don’t mess with Texas). Diane and Bill had two children, Christine and Michael. They were loved in every way possible. He enjoyed being able to practice dentistry with his father and he felt rewarded in being able to serve his patients, many of whom became friends. The Outdoors was where he felt the most in harmony. Fishing, hunting, & landscaping were all just ways to be with his best buddies. Life & light were rediscovered when granddaughters Chloe & Caroline came along. Watching them grow and a good cuddle became all important. Bill enjoyed and cared for his many friends, but didn’t know until this fight how many of you cared for him as well. This realization was one of the best side effects of all. Preceded in death by father Dr. F. Wesley Park and brother David. Survived by wife Diane Z. Park, daughter Dr. Christine White (David), son Michael (Leena), granddaughters Chloe and Caroline White. Celebration of life to be held at University Congregational Church, Thurs. Sept. 11 at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to UCC or Wichita Leukemia Society “See you on the other side of the great beyond”
