Berry, William Abner “Big William”, 77, of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully on Mon. May 23, 2016 in Wichita. William was born on March 20, 1939 in Rentiesville, OK the son of George and Margaret (McClendon) Turner. William and Shirley Mae (Flowers) Berry were united in marriage in Oklahoma. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Nero. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Berry of Wichita, children, Anetta Moreaux of Houston, TX, Larry (Linda) Collins of Wichita, James (Marsha) Bobo of Brooklyn, NY, Carlton Collins of Wichita, Curtis Berry of Wichita, William “Little William” Berry of Wichita, Margaret Berry of St. Louis, MO, Eddie Berry of Houston, TX, Shannon (Kim) Berry of Kalamazoo, MI, sisters, Rozella (Ben) McClendon of Wichita, Rebecca Jones of Anchorage, AK, brothers, George Dewey (Gail) Berry of Oklahoma City, OK, sister-in-law, Cynthia Nero of Wichita, 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tues. May 31, 2016 from 9 to 10am with funeral services following at 10am both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials can be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219.
