Wanda Jo Warren

Wanda Joleen Warren, age 79, passed away on February 4, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1941 to Theodore and Helen Mehl in Wichita, Kansas. Wanda Jo was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She was a member at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, a devout Christian. Wanda Jo was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Gary Warren; son, Bobby Warren; son-in-law, James Canterberry; and grandchildren, Daniel Alan Warren and Timothy Middleton. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Christina Hart, John (Jennifer) Warren, Janet Rushing (Johnie Pointer) and Kristina Canterberry; sister, Marlene (Dale) Beneke; grandchildren, Jonathan Crow, Kristopher Delgado, Nicole (Christopher) Schroeder, Morgan (Geoff) Anderson and Billy Nicholson; great grandchildren, Aidan Crow, Cameron Crow, Temperance Crow, Talia Anderson, Journey Nicholson and Stella Anderson; and her furbaby, Jessie. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wanda Jo's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave, Wichita, Kansas 67214. Funeral service will be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. The family encourages everyone in attendance to be in casual dress, as Wanda Jo would have liked.
