Thomas was united in marriage to Martha Kettner on September 2, 1960 in Victorville, California, where he was stationed in the United States Air Force. Upon discharge, the two returned to Wisconsin where they started their family and raised four daughters, Michelle, Kathryn, Margaret, and Cynthia.
Thomas was an avid sports fan, especially watching the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans. He also enjoyed going fishing, reading westerns, camping as a Boy Scout Leader, but most importantly spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Edna; his beloved wife, Martha; his brothers, Richard and Joseph; along with his sister, Nancy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle (Bob) Alder of Independence, Missouri, Kathryn (Bob) Wipf of Wichita, Kansas, Margaret (Rick) Hero of Spring, Texas, and Cynthia (Clayton) Moistner of Richmond, Indiana; his brothers, Harry Francis of Omaha, Nebraska, and Norman Francis of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; his sister, Mary Peterson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; along with his 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been effected. Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
