Ross, Silvia O., entered the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ Sunday February 18, 2018 at the age of 85. She was born June 16, 1932 to Juan and Otilia Calderon in Antofagasta, Chile. In 1954 she married Percy Ross then moved to the US in 1972. She retired from Arkansas Avenue Elementary School in 1996. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survived by daughters, Jeanette (Herb) Johnson and Priscilla (Scott) Yeakley, three grandchildren - Shaun and (Gayle) Johnson, Matthew Yeakley and Brian Yeakley. Great grandchildren, Layla, Cora and Jack Johnson, siblings Daniza Rojas, of Chile. Liliana (Waldo) Santander, Sonia and (Don) Lineback, Juan and (Irma) Calderon, one nephew and six nieces as well as dear friends the Garolla and Santander families all of Wichita. Visitation Thursday, February 22, Advantage funeral home 4408 W. Central 4 to 8pm. Private services will be held Friday. Memorial donations can be made to Catholic Care Center in lieu of flowers.
