Howell, Robert E. “Bob”, 82, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thurs. Sept. 22, 2016 in Wichita. Bob was born the son of Eugene and Velma (Hutchins) Howell on Dec. 14, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas. Bob and Louise (Walters) Howell were united in marriage on Sept. 13, 1963 in Miami, OK. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage before her passing in 2009. Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1960. Bob retired after 35 years from the Kansas Gas in Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Louise Howell, sister, Scharlet Proctor. Survivors include his nieces, Donna Santee of Wichita, Carol (Tom) Stuchlik of Berryton, KS, daughter, Ginger Kelley of Wichita, granddaughter, Jacqueline Kelley of Frisco, TX, his loving friends and neighbors. Celebration of Life services will be 10am on Mon. Sept. 26, 2016 at Lakeview Mausoleum, Wichita. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
