Winter, Rita H. 76, retired secretary for St. Francis hospital, passed away February 16, 2016. Rita was a resident of Cornerstone Assisted Living, she was an avid bridge player and Scrabble champion. Known to many as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. She was preceded by her husband, Clement H. Winter; and her parents, Lawrence and Teresa Spexarth. She is survived by son, Christopher (Amy) Winter; daughters, Rebecca Winter and Denise (David) Bulpitt; brothers, Lawrence (Janice) Spexarth, John (Ruthe) Spexarth and Bill (Jolene) Spexarth; sisters, Rosemary Gros and Virginia Gutschenritter; grandchildren, Carolyn, Susie, and Daniel Bulpitt; Lucille, Emily, and Michael Winter. Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 and Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 both at St. Catherine of Sienna Church. Memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S Market St, Wichita, KS 67202 and St. Catherine of Sienna memorial fund.
