Richard Paul (Dick) Fisher, 87, retired Upholsterer, former owner of Fisher Upholstery and Universal Fabric-Wichita Trimming Supply, teacher of Upholstery at Wichita VoTech, and Member of the Knights of Columbus, passed away on September 10, 2013. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy WWII.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Luvina; daughter, Becky Lauderback; grandson, Bill Brittain; son-in-law, Danny Saranko; brother, William (Bill) Fisher; sisters, Margaret Hommertzheim and Kathrine Hawkins. Survived by his children, Martin (Roberta), Gina Mohr (David), Ruthann Santillie (Tony), son-in-law, Loren Lauderback, Bonnie Saranko, Rick (Karen), Tim (Carol), Chris (Shannon), Phil, Teresa Gardiner (Mike), brother, Jim Fisher and sister, Josephine Mobbs, 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Rosary 7:00pm, Thursday, September 12, 2013 and Funeral Mass 10:30am, Friday, September 13, 2012 both at Christ The King Catholic Church with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
