He was always smiling if you asked how he was he would say ”better than I deserve". He never knew a dog that didn’t like him or he them. He had a dog for 13 years named Spud and they were inseparable. If he and Laura were out walking and he saw a dog he would go and love on them, and he didn’t mind if they licked his face.
He also loved little kids, especially his grandkids. He loved to be outside doing yard work or just enjoying the sunshine. He was also a Godly man.
Paul is survived by his wife, Laura Wolter; his son Michael Wolter (Erin); his son Mark Wolter (Amy); his daughter Sarah Nelson (David); his step-son Zachary Lujano (Bridget); and his step-son Blake Lujano (Katie); his 16 grandchildren and his 1 great grandchild.
Paul was preceded in death by his father Henry Wolter and his mother Druscilla Wolter; his brother Arthur Wolter and his sister Ann Peistrup.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, WICHITA, KS 67206. A memorial service will occur Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E 34th St N, Wichita, KS 67226.
