Called home on January 5, 2022, Murray Phillip Walker II, known to everyone as Phillip, was born in Wichita, KS to Murray and Mary Walker on September 9, 1953. He grew up in Sedgwick County, KS, and was a graduate of Campus High School in 1971.
He married the love of his life, Debbie, in 1972. They were blessed with the birth of their first daughter the following year. Soon daughters two, three, and four followed. He taught his daughters a good work ethic as he supported his family through the years working in farming, trucking, and the aircraft industry working 16 years at Boeing and 13 years at Hawker-Beechcraft.
He was a great husband, a phenomenal father, and a fantastic friend. He was so much more than that to many people. To many, he was a role model on how to be a father and an all-around better person. Showing others how he selflessly loved his family and what it meant to be a Christian man, displaying this through his love of Jesus Christ. A man of great faith who raised his family to be deeply rooted in the same foundations.
Phillip was also known as quite the prankster, revealing in the tormenting of all whom he knew. Everyone who knew him has a wonderful Philip story. We ask that you please share them with us on the online guestbook.
Preceded in death by his father, Murray Walker, mother; Mary; sisters Jackie, Barbara Jean, Terry, and a brother; Bobby. He is survived by his wife Debbie.
