She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, known for her warm spirit and unwavering support to those around her. She was very fond of animals, having four dogs during her life named Cinnamon, Pebbles, Cocoa, Peanut, and her son’s dogs Lady and Patchouli. She enjoyed taking vacations with the family to places like Colorado and Texas and visiting her family back home in New York. Her favorite music was the band Journey and of course the enthralling Tom Jones. Michele spent many years of her life serving as a valued employee of the IRS. She was most dedicated to being a mother.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 36 years, Salvatore J. Trupia; her beloved children, Kimberly D. Trupia and Anthony J. Trupia; her cherished siblings, Cecil Rybarczyk and Charles Hussnatter, and many nieces, great-nieces, and nephews. Michele's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 1st, at 10:00am at Resthaven Mortuary located at 11800 W Kellogg St., Wichita, KS 67209. There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 31st from 5-7pm at Resthaven.
Michele spent the last few months of her life being taken care of at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton, KS. The family is deeply grateful for the care and love they provided to Michele during her short time there.
Michele will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the lives she touched.
