A husband, father, son, brother, and best friend all describe Matt. He wore each of these titles passionately. Loving on his daughters and wife brought so much joy into our home. His smile brightened any room he entered. He worked hard to provide his family with a great life. He was a giver with much love in his heart.
His job as a journeyman lineman was something he took so much pride in . He lived the title but loved the adrenaline rush. Dangling from a helicopter to work poles was his happy place, one that most wouldn't understand.
Matt had a great love for adventure, he loved to fish and take his boat out. He didn't quite master wake surfing but definitely gave it his all. Our trips with him were the best, he knew no limit when providing a great experience.
In short, Matt was a man without a bucket list. He lived and loved with everything he had. If he thought it might be fun he tried it, if it was fun he did his best to master it. He did truly live life to its fullest.
