McDow, Mary “Maxine, 85, homemaker and caregiver passed away Dec. 15, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband H.V. “Mac” McDow, parents Theodore and Minnie Collins and brother Walter “Buck” Collins. Survivors are sons Victor (Jane) McDow of Paola, KS, Howard W. McDow of Yates Center, KS, Harlan T. (Joanna) McDow of Independence, KS; daughters Vickie Crupper of Howard, KS, Sandra (Maurice Forkner) McDow of Coffeyville, KS; brother Richard (Vickey) Collins of Belle Plaine, KS; sister Emma Jean (Lawrence) Allen of Ft. Scott, KS; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 1:00 pm Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Resthaven Mortuary.
