Marsha Wilson was born on December 31, 1942 in Holton, KS. Marsha moved to Wichita with her family in 1951. She passed away on November 26, 2023 in Wichita, KS. Marsha graduated from Wichita South High in 1961. Marsha was a loving wife to her husband Steve for over sixty-two years. She was a wonderful mother to her three loving children and always strived to put family first and extended her love and care to others.
Marsha enjoyed researching her family genealogy. She was an excellent cook creating many great recipes for the family. She also was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Marsha had a strong Christian faith. She was happiest spending time with her family and watching sports with Steve.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents; Evan and Fannie Ramsey, older brother Butch who died as an infant.
Marsha is survived by husband Steve, children; Kae Clayton (Russ) of Wichita, KS, Kim Rodriguez (Mark) of Haslet, TX, Steve Wilson Jr. (Eterna) of San Diego, CA. Grandchildren; Andrew Rodriguez, Nicole Rodriguez, Russ Clayton Jr., Chloe Rodriguez, Courtney Clayton, Dylan Wilson, and Rylie Wilson. Great grandchildren; Zoey, Lily, Maya, and Remy.
Come & Go Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023; with the Funeral Service being held 3:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2023, both at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, in the Garden of Christ with the Children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marsha's name may be designated to Serene Palliative Care & Hospice of Wichita, 345 Riverview Street, Wichita, Kansas 67203 or to Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside Street, Wichita, Kansas 67219.
