Marilyn Dieffenbacher, age 81, loving wife of Dan for over 63 years and case worker for the Dept. of Aging, died Saturday, December 27, 2014. Marilyn was born June 17, 1933, in Wichita, the daughter of Walter and Esther McHenry. On March 2, 1951, she married Daniel W. Dieffenbacher at University Friends Church in Wichita. Survivors include: husband, Dan; daughters, Karen Carlile, Karla Dieffenbacher, Sheryl (Bob) Reynolds; sister, Connie Pauler; sister-in-law, Ruth (Harold) Scheer; grandchildren, Danielle Herring, Rosasharen Shelton, Duane Carlile, Riley Stegman, Torey Stegman, JJ (Michelle McGraw) Coppenbarger, Megan (Mitch) McKeage; 5 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, at University Friends Church with Cliff Loesch presiding. A memorial has been established with University Friends Church, 1840 W. University, Wichita, KS 67213.
