Susie and Kevin  so sorry for your loss  

I am so sorry for your loss, i cannot image what your going through. Lucas service was beautiful, just like his soul.  I had the pleasure of meeting him through my son (nathan lamb) and Luke was truly a beautiful, caring, compassionate, selfless and respectful kid (young man), much love to your family. Thank you Luke for touching the lives of so many, your laughter and heart was and will continue to be an inspiration for many.

Luke. When I think of Luke I get a big smile every time. On my face and in my heart. He was so warm. So peaceful to be around. He was a quality person. Made up of quality and and gave quality. You knew you were going to get real, authentic, thoughtful, fun, loving, kind, funny and meaningful from him. Luke valued people and people valued Luke. Luke saw people. He gave people understanding and he always gave the best version of himself. He was selfless. 

I want to hug Luke so badly. I want to tell him he’s been one of the most meaningful people in my life. I want to thank him for taking the time and energy to see me and give me loyalty, authenticity and a Brother. 

Kevin, Susie, Jess and Olivia my heart aches for you and with you. It also celebrates and smiles over one of the best people I have ever known.

Being the grandmother of Luke and Ethan Rust, I JoAnn Rust spent time with your precious boy Lucas.   He would come to the house with the boys when I was there.  Praying for the Lord Jesus to wrap your family in his arms, hold you on his lap and lean your head against his chest and listen to his heart beating with love for you.   The same heart of love that Lucas is hearing as Jesus holds him in His arms.   !

I spent many happy times with Luke. He made me laugh, and I always enjoyed his company. A good soul and a good friend. He will be missed. Love to Susie , Kevin and family.

I am praying for comfort, hope and understanding during this time and for the time to come. Jesus, wrap your arms around this family and their hearts. Give them the strength and refuge only you can provide.  Love you Susie. 

What a connection I had with this boy!  I just thought he was the funniest, goofiest, whackiest kid.  He just had such a need to fill up his whole life with good friends, good food, good music, good times and good life lessons.  I just want one more day with Luke.  Just one more day to hug him, to tell him I love him.

Lucas was always smiling when he crossed the doorway. I'm so grateful for the time Em got to spend out adventuring with him. I keep trying to find the words to convey the depth of the loss we all feel. It stops your breath to know how quickly everything changes. He was JUST here smiling at my door. That's a memory that we will keep. I am thinking of all of his friends and family and wishing them some magical peace.  The most beautiful souls are sometimes the most tormented.
