John Kiser, age 81, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. John was born September 4, 1940. He loved watching old Westerns in his later days. He was a golfer and sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He had a fear of heights and took up flying to help overcome it. He was extremely proud of both himself and his brother Marines for their service to our country.
He is survived by wife of 61 years Ursula; children Cindy (Gary) Shellhammer, Mike (Shelli) Kiser; grandchildren Danielle (Justin) Swartsfager, Cody (Haylee) Shellhammer, Angela Kiser, Shannon (Cody) Potts, Adam (Carrie) Kiser; great-grandchildren Dexter Gruenbacher, Luke and Emily Shellhammer; and sister Janet Spalding.
Visitation will be held 3-7pm on Tuesday, March 1st at Resthaven Mortuary.
Celebration of Life will be held 10am, Friday, March 4th at Resthaven Mortuary.
