Jerry R. Krueger

Krueger, Jerry R., 87, beloved husband, opa, brother, uncle and friend of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday December 9, 2016 in Wichita. Jerry was born the son of Helmuth and Erna (Neuse) Krueger on March 25, 1929 in Wolgast Pommern, Germany. Jerry and Inge Krueger were united in marriage on March 25, 1948 in Berlin, Germany. Together they celebrated 68 years of marriage. Jerry was born and raised in Germany before immigrating to the U.S.A with the help of Phillip Beals, Jr. who was like a brother. Jerry worked as a computer manager and retired at 4th National Bank in Wichita. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Horst (MIA), Heinz. Survivors include his loving wife, Inge Krueger of Wichita, sons, Jim (DeeAnn) Krueger of Andover, Joe (Kimberly) Krueger of Neosho, Missouri, Gene (Joni) Krueger of Newton, Kansas, brother, Klaus (Ingrid) Krueger of Berlin, Germany, sister, Christa DuBois of Centennial, CO, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life services will 10am on Thursday December 15, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials can be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
