Jamie Sielschott, 46, of Wichita Kansas, formerly of Chandlerville Illinois, passed away January 17, 2019. She was born September 10, 1972, in Springfield, IL to Kenneth and Joyce Sielschott. Jamie received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from MacMurray College and worked at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas. Jamie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, nurse, and friend to many. She received multiple Daisy Awards and was highly respected in her profession of nursing. She was an example of compassion and loyalty to all who knew her. She had so much compassion and empathy for every patient she cared for and touched so many lives in her nursing career.
Jamie is survived by her three children Eden (William) Holliday, Mitchell Brown, and Silas Brown. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jase Holliday and Clara Brown. Also surviving is her mother Joyce Sielschott and her three sisters, Kristine (Theo) Hodgson, Robin (Jason) Johnson, and Kelly Bailey. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Jamie was preceded in death by her father and brother-in-law Jon Bailey. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 25, at 6pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church In Kilbourne Illinois.
