Howard Keith Mitchell, age 73, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Keith was born July 6, 1941, in Wichita, the son of Keith B. and Alta V. (Bowen) Mitchell. He was raised in Wichita and graduated from West H.S. in ’59. On July 8, 1962, he married Carolyn M. Perkins in Humboldt. Survivors include: wife of 52 years, Carolyn, of the home; children, Jeff, of Humboldt, Sharon, of Wichita; sister, Jerry and husband, Joe Lantz, of Silva, MO; grandchildren, Todd Anderson, Tyler and Anthony Mitchell; nephews, Joseph B. III and William Lantz. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday; funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, both at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th Street, Wichita; graveside will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, KS. A memorial has been established with Goddard First Baptist Church, 124 W. 2nd, Goddard, KS 67052.
