Harold Gene Banick, 88, was called home on September 27, 2024. Harold was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years Patsy Banick. Survivors are his four children Todd (Joyce) Banick of Valley Center, Kim (Greg) Gifford of Goddard, Carrie (Derek) Esgro of Park City, and Kyle (LeeAnn) Banick of Wichita, Sisters Lucille McCoy of Alabama, Carol Wilson of Georgia, Lorry Voss - Hoffman of Wisconsin, and Brother Ronald Banick of Michigan, Grandchildren Zachary, Kayla, Autumn, Andrew, Aubrey, Ashlynn, Avery, and Bryce, Great-Grandchildren Blayke, Brooks, Bryer, and Everett.
A visitation will be open to the public on October 3, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM at DeVorss Flanagan – Hunt Mortuary, with family present from 6 PM to 8 PM. DFH is located at 201 S. Hydraulic St., Wichita, KS 67211. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday. October 4, 2024, at 9 AM at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1241 N Ridge Rd., Wichita, KS 67212. Following will be a burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory located at 11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209. A live stream of the service is linked on the obituary website.
