Glen Maurice Harrelson, age 84, retired truck driver for Atlas Van Lines after 36 years, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014. Glen was bornon July 30, 1930, in Lead Hill, Arkansas, the son of the late William Marion and Alta May (Mears) Harrelson. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving our country for a little over two years. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clara Lucille Jones; son, Bobby Harrelson; and numerous aunts and uncles. Survivors inlcude: his wife of 25 years, Mary Harrelson; children, Alan and wife, Monica Harrelson, James and wife, Susan Harrelson, Michael and wife, Lisa Harrelson, Sue Thompson, Jeannie and husband, Mark McCool, and Cindy Wright; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Ray and wife, Cleeta Harrelson; and a sister, Charlene and husband, Jimmy Lenox. A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association, 1820 East Douglas, Wichita, Kansas 67214.
