George Landis, 81, partner of Landis & Woods, P.A., CPA, and former Marine, passed away February 20, 2012. He was born December 24, 1930 in Anthony, KS to Ulrich and Sadie Landis. He is survived by: loving spouse; Laura of 61 plus yrs., 4 legged daughter; Joy, brother; Fred (Hazel) Landis of Forney, TX, nephews; James (Cindy) Landis of Farmers Branch, TX, Ronny (Beverly) Landis of Rockwall, TX; Grandnephews; Parker, Preston, Luke and Jacob. Visitation will be Thursday 1-8 p.m. with family present 6-8. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday February 24, 2012 all at Hillside Funeral Home West. Interment will follow at the River View Cemetery in Kiowa, KS at 2:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Mothers and Others.
