My heart is with all of you, I am keeping you in my prayers and sending you love. Gary was such a good kind man, just solid as a rock. I have told many about KATH & GARY, and how your marriage was what people long for, together through thick & thin, and you still liked and loved each other after 55 years .What joyful memories you have.  Gary joins old friends now and is at peace. I love you.

Kathy, Jane and I are sorry for your loss and the memories that we should have.  Gary's grandmother and my grandmother were sisters from St. Paul.  God Bless you, your children and grandchildren as well as his siblings.

Dear Kathy,

You are an amazing and faithful wife and are to be commended for your loving and sacrificial care for Gary.  There are so many difficult things which come to us in this life but the love of God, His promises, family and friends enable us to make it through.  Good times and good things await you in the days and months ahead but they will be intermixed with times of testing and trial.  You are greatly loved and will find courage, purpose and blessing in this new season.  I am lifting you up in my prayers and my heart and home will always be open to you for friendship, fellowship and counsel.

We can hardly imagine the shock you are experiencing at this time.  "Sudden" seems to be the keyword here--sudden diagnosis, sudden decisions, sudden farewells, sudden death.  Some of the consolations must be: his (and your) goodness, his (and your) long life, his (and your) rich marriage, his (and your) deep faith, his (and your) high quality children, etc.  God has been so good to all of you.

I will always remember Gary for his extraordinary talents.  It seemed there was nothing he could not do ("except sheetrock"--loved this quote in his obit).  Beyond all that he was just an all-around good, good human being.  He would do anything for anyone, anytime.  That reminds me of the second great command in the gospel.  

There was also something special about his low key approach to everything.  He could be almost inconspicuous in his goodness.  He was never one to call attention to himself or what he created or accomplished.  His quiet demeanor made him so appealing to everyone.  Although he will be missed by many he was an inspiration to all of us in life and now in death.

Gary was a great guy and I  will always keep those memories of Gary Kathy David Holly  andJill when we lived next door to you on Sennett back in the seventies . Those were the days we thought they would never end !! From L.C . Jackson and family next door neighbors at 3008 Sennett

I have many fond memories of trading hunting, and fishing stories with Gary.
He will be missed.
