Gary A. Ford

Gary attended school in Marion, Kansas, graduating from Marion High School in 1960. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army. While in the military Gary worked in Financial Management Accounting. He was honorably discharged in June 1963.

In 1963, he met Jeri G. (Gruner), they married on August 22, 1965 at Marion United Methodist Church, Kansas.

Gary worked at Davis Manufacturing in inventory control, eventually Case International. Gary and Dean Mains opened Computit Corporation, they were open until 1989 and Gary went to work for Central Detroit Diesel-Allison until his retirement in 2006.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Ford, sisters, Betty Alspaw and Edith Miller Robison.

Survivors include his wife, Jeri Ford; children, Eric and wife, Shelli Ford, Shelly and husband, Dan Prytherch; grandchildren, Makayla Ford, Alyssa Prytherch, Braden Ford, Lexi Prytherch; brother, Larry and wife, Betty Ford.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service; funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2023 at Asbury Church, 2801 West 15th Street North, Wichita. Graveside will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memory, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Kansas Honor Flight, P.O. Box 2371, Hutchinson, Kansas 67504.
