Donald was united in marriage to Patsy Sanborn on September 14, 1962 at Riverview Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas.
Donald worked as an business owner and truck driver for Don Hale Trucking for many years. Don's life was revolved around his family, working career and serving his church at Riverview Baptist Church in Wichita.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, James and Gladys; his beloved wife, Patsy; his siblings, Jim Hale, Dave Hale, Anna Mae Morgan, and Barb Hayes.
He is survived by: his son, Mark (Michele) Sanborn; his grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle) Howard and Amy (Tim) Wiebe; his great-grandchildren, Taya, Kaleb, Hannah, and Piper; along with his brother, Claude (Barb) Hale.
Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Riverview Baptist Church, 844 West 53rd Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67204.
