Dale Lewis

He will be most remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor and friend. Dale’s first marriage on May 31st,1951, was to Judy (Moser) (deceased). During their 57 Years of marriage, they lived in Ludlow Falls, OH; Lynn, IN; and Wichita, KS. Dale’s second marriage was to Joyce (Livingston) in September of 2008 for 15 years and they resided in Wichita, KS. He earned his B.S. in Pastoral Ministry from Fort Wayne Bible College, IN. His hobby was people. He was happiest and most content when he was with people doing ministry. The churches he served in ministry included: Ludlow Falls Friends Church, OH; Lynn Friends Church, IN; Northridge Friends Church, KS and Central Community Church, KS. He served a total of 62 years in ministry.

Survivors include wife, Joyce Lewis, daughter and son-in-law Dalene and Ed Hutson of Wichita, sons and daughters-in-laws Larry and Sheryl Lewis of Wichita, Randy and Mary Ann Lewis of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren Bryce (Kara) and Chris (Erin) Hutson, Abby (Jesse) Penna, Lyndie (Luis) Victoria, Landon (Sadie), Brock (Kelli) and Miles Lewis, Chloe (Mason) DuPerier. 14 great grandchildren Ava, Amelia, and Aria Victoria, Zane, Gemma, Ruth and Abe Hutson, Eden and Jude Hutson, Evelyn, Sarah and Levi Penna, Archie Lewis, Indiana Lewis, Gemma and Olive DuPerier.

A celebration service will be held at Central Community Church February 3, 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Central Community Church.
