I only met Craig once about a year and a half ago when my son (Chad Johnson) introduced us to Craig. My husband Paul was stricken with cancer and Chad  thought Craig would have some inspiration and helpful hints for Paul. Craig sure did have a lot of input and helpful advice for us. He treated us like he had all the time in the world to give us.  We were both so impressed with his determination to beat what life had dealt him. His family meant everything to him and he so wanted to stay here with you all. I'm sorry you lost him, he was a wonderful man.

    What a pleasure it was to have known Craig!  He was a member of my team at Via Christi for a few years.  He was passionate about Customer Service, exceptionally competent and a sheer pleasure in every sense of the word.  I will never forget his humor and ability to relax a tough situation for all involved.  He endured a long, hard battle with the best "positive attitude" I have ever witnessed and is an inspiration.   Love, prayers, and sincere condolences to Marianne, family and friends.  The journey of pain is over.  RIP Craig.  You will be missed and remembered fondly!

What a great friend Craig was as we grew up together. I think we meet before kindergarten and we’re in contact even as adults. We just lived two houses away from each other growing up and were together almost ever day doing something fun. Craig’s family moved to the country when he was about 12 but we still had a lot of fun weekend camping trips out to their ponds and fun hunting and fishing on the family properties. 
Craig will be greatly missed!!

Thank you for being such a loving, caring, compassionate, and supportive uncle during the 20 years I got to have you in my life. I will always remember the few week visits I did while you and Mar Mar lived in TX, the times you help me field dress my deer I’ve gotten, and just the simple conversations we had about life. I will see you soon, until then, rest easy uncle in paradise and tell JuJu I said hello. Love you. ❤️

I had the privilege of working with Craig at Via Christi.  I know that the phone users thought very highly of Craig, he will certainly be greatly missed.

Wow,Craig was one of thee"Cool Kids"-When we were out and about riding our "Sting Ray's"-He was always a very happy go lucky dude,Just a great Dude.Always having a good laugh...And i never seen anybody-{Except one of my family member's-as well as myself}-Fall to the ground,rolling around in laughter-Well that's what Craig did when we were kid's.One time he invited several of us over to his family home to see,and ride his new dirt bike-WOW!!!Yeah i want to do this,I accepted the invitation-We were all getting a chance to ride that rand new dirt bike...I couldn't wait!Long story short-I crashed into the fence,flying over the handle bars-Yeah,Dirt was flying,because Craig was on the ground,Laughing sooo hard and kicking the dirt around!!!-I will miss Craig Smith!-Rest my Friend-PEACE-

I remember when Craig and Marianne began their school yard "romance", it was a thing of beauty to see and a picture of forever love and devotion! They embodied DEVOTION to each other and their families.  What a blessing and amazing memory they lived and, unknowingly I am sure, shared with all of us that knew and love them! Sleep well Craig and remember LOVE NEVER ENDS and I will see you AT THE HOUSE and we can share stories about how amazing Marianne is (and you too, of course.)

I am so sorry to hear about Craig's passing.  I worked with him at Via Christi doing recordings.  He was a real friend to me when I really needed one and I will never forget him.  He had an amazing sense of humor and could make me laugh harder than anyone.  I know how much he loved his family.  We talked about family a lot. and how important it was.  I am so very sorry he had to go through what he did,   He will be missed forever.  I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope the wonderful memories you have of him will be a comfort as you try to go on without him here on earth.  He will always be in your hearts, because you all certainly were the most important in his.  

For the last few years, when I would walk by Craig’s cube at work, I would stop and say hi. He would always start off by asking “when are you going to become our boss, Chad?”  We always had a good laugh, with me saying “be careful what you ask for bud”. Recent organization realignment finally made that happen, as I became his manager on Jan 15 2020. I wish I had more time to work with him in this capacity. I enjoyed our cube conversations, will miss talking to Craig, and just plain miss him. I’m glad I gave him a hug each of the last days he was at work. I didn’t get to give my mom’s husband a final hug before cancer took him a year ago, so I’m glad I didn’t pass up those opportunities with Craig. 

A great coworker and an even greater friend.  He often talked about his family and I could feel his love for them.  I know we will see him again one day and I rejoice that he is no longer in pain.
