Underwood, Cathy Gene, 67, household manager, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away June 18, 2018. Cathy enjoyed gardening, decorating, and traveling, especially to Durango, CO. She was an impeccable hostess with her perfect timing and delicious food. Cathy was a renaissance woman who appreciated all mediums of art. Whether it was listening to music, admiring a painting, or drawing in her spare time, she enjoyed them all. Above all else she was loving. She was sweet, kind and generous beyond measure. Her supportiveness, selflessness and unwavering love made her everything to her husband and son. She was a beautiful person and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her father Gene Miles. Cathy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dennis Underwood; son, Miles (Holly Goodman) Underwood; mother, Marie Miles; sister and best friend, Marlene Miles; sister-in-law; Lana (A.J.) Schlegel; as well as numerous beloved family members. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Fri. June 22, and memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sat. June 23, 2018, both at Resthaven Mortuary. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
