Brandon Ly Tran, 25 years of age, passed away on October 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy rich in love and friendship. Born on April 15, 1999, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Truc Mai and Keith Tran, Brandon embodied compassion and camaraderie throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Edmond Memorial High School in 2017, Brandon pursued his passion for computer science at the University of Central Oklahoma. While studying, he worked at Amazon, where he currently held the position of Operations Manager. During his time there, he forged lasting friendships and was known for his supportive nature and encouragement, uplifting everyone around him.
In his free time, Brandon thrived on the excitement of online gaming in Counterstrike, the joy of cooking for Phở Wednesdays, and cozy Movie Mondays with friends. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandparents and cousins, and loved outings to the shooting range with his dad and friends. His vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm created countless cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His favorite phrases, “Hiyaaa” and “Chời ơi,” serve as joyful reminders of his lively personality.
Brandon is survived by his devoted parents, Truc Mai and Keith Tran; his sister, Emily Tran, and her husband, Storm Fisher; his maternal grandparents, Khoa and Hong Vu; and paternal relatives, including Chuong and Lan Tran, Cuc and Dat Lai, Chinh and An Tran, and Charlene and Ken Bui, as well as maternal relatives, including Viet and Van Vu, Yen Khanh Vu, Lieu Tram and Christopher Le, Rosemary and Dustin Loftis, Anthony and Jovana Vu, and Teresa and Jason Vu-Fountain. He is also lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Kira Miller, and a host of cousins and friends who cherished his kind heart and playful spirit.
Brandon’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
