77, passed away March 21, 2016. Alva enjoyed crafting, puzzles, sewing, and researching geneology and ancestry. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by many. She was preceded by husband, Ellis Johnson; mother, Lola Thomas; and brother, Chuck Hudlin. She is survived by son, Michael (Vicky) Moore; daughter, Athena (Donald) Spillman; brother, Gerald Irvine; sister, Catherine Arrington; 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Memorial service to be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary.
