Vernon Eugene Gaines, 66, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 9, 2016, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Vernon was born on June 22, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas to Burdett and Doris Blaisdell Gaines. He was a construction superintendent and had lived in Wichita Falls for the past 49 years. He moved here from Kansas. He loved guitars, music, concerts, his dogs, and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Dorothy Coons.
Vernon is survived by his sisters: Kathryn Dunn of Kentucky and Judith Fugett and husband Michael of Duncanville and a brother: Ken Gaines of Wichita Falls.
