She was born August 12, 1960 in Texarkana, Texas to Lt. Col. Joe and Pam Dotson.
After living all over the world as a “military brat,” Teri graduated from Rider High School and then Midwestern State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She worked at First Step Inc., Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, and the law office of Jay Cantrell. Teri was also an integral part of Photos by Torin and loved her time as a stay-at-home-Mom.
She and her husband, Torin, were married for 35 years.
Teri's passion was her family and she was proudest of her children. Her love radiated out to even the most extended family members. She was blessed with many close friends and lasting relationships. She was known for having a talent for organization and service to the community through the Junior League of Wichita Falls, Senior-Junior Forum, Special Olympics, River Bend Nature Center, and any school her kids attended.
Teri was preceded in death by her father, Joe Dotson and brother, Christopher Dotson. She is survived by her husband, Torin, and their children Rebecca, Ryan and his wife, Elizabeth Bryson Halsey, along with her mother, Pam Dotson, and brothers, Allen Dotson, Steve Dotson and Van Dotson as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
