First and foremost Kathy was a follower of Jesus Christ. Kathy had a distinguished career in music and the arts as a graduate of Julliard School of Music in New York City, sang with Rockets in Carnegie Hall and had won several beauty pageants in New York City. Kathy completed a solo music album in Nashville called "GRACE" (In honor of her mother) that was an outstanding achievement in 2015.
Kathy left the limelight of the entertainment world to marry Pat Allen. They enjoyed operating a Veterinary Clinic in Lubbock, Tx. and celebrated 29 years of marriage before Pat's passing. She met her husband, Vern Raney at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Co. and became ordained ministers and they ministered together in the US and Caribbean.
She was a pillar of love and support and brought joy to her family and all those around her with her grace, unwavering encouragement and positivity. Kathy loved her dogs and her home in Wichita Falls, Texas and always enjoyed visiting her homes in the mountains of Colorado.
Kathy’s unconditional love for her husband & family knew no bounds.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy (William IV).
Survivors include her husband Vern, Kathy's sisters Cindy (Nephew Christopher), Susan (Husband David). Step-children Steve (Dar), Grace (Luke), Sarah, Joseph (Clarissa), Rachael (Darrell), Tim (Brittany), Alicia and 23 grandkids, 4 great grandkids with Vern Raney.
Step-daughters Cynie (Sam), Dana, Stephanie (Blaine) and 4 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids with Pat Allen, her faithful Yorkie's, German Sheppard companions and extended family.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity that will continue to inspire us all. Kathy will be deeply missed and forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service for Kathy will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
