Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park.
Doris was born on October 27, 1923 in Maramec, Oklahoma to Carl W. and Freda E. Duff. She married Floyd Monroe Clowdus on October 4, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a Bluebird Leader and Campfire Girls for 10 years and was a longtime member of the Wichita Falls Gardens Club. She also was a member of the Rockin’ Wheels Travel Group. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Shepherd Air Force Base Exchange for 20 years. She was a member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Brian Burton.
She is survived by her daughter: Linda Lorraine Burton of Clinton, Oklahoma; sons: Phillip Carl Clowdus and John Rosson, both of Wichita Falls; brother: Marvin Carl Duff of Midland; grandchildren:
Brandon Burton of Lawton, Oklahoma and Farrah Castro of Clinton, Oklahoma, and 9 great and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
